BtcEX Cryptocurrencies Platform is a Secure, Trusted and Liquid platform built by a team of veteran developers with a combined 45+ years in financial engineering, including, BATS, NYSE, and CME brokerages. BtcEX’s platform leverages enterprise-grade security and can be live in under 2 months. The matching engine performs at nearly 1 million transactions per second.

Our cryptocurrency exchange offers access to a wide range of cryptocurrency instruments. In the initial version of the system, there will be 20 cryptocurrencies available: BTC, ETH, BCH, NEO, DASH, LTC, EOS, ETC, XRP, ZEC, IOTA, and a few others to be named later. We are also available to support ERC20 tokens like OmiseGo, Basic Attention Token, Binance Coin, etc . These cryptocurrencies can be traded against FIAT currencies (USD, EUR, AUD, CAD, JPY etc.) or other cryptocurrencies.

BtcEX’s exchange will start development on 11 March 2019 and will launch at 13 May 2019 The exchange will have integrated KYC/AML verification solutions which will be provided by one of the market leaders in online verification and KYC/AML in Central, Eastern Europe and Asia - Sum&Substance. Sum&Substance was founded by an international team of specialists in machine learning, business process automation and compliance since 2015. They can authenticate 3,500 different types of documents and determine the authenticity and legitimacy to ensure a document is not forged or altered.

As a Sum&Substance client, BtcEX has the ability to easily open bank accounts worldwide with the help of our KYC procedure and methodology. Sum&Substance has experience in opening bank accounts in: Switzerland, Estonia, Singapore, USA, Israel & the Cayman Islands. BtcEX’s platform is planning to provide a stable banking solution allowing quick and convenient customer storage and transfer, if and when a required FSA license is granted. Until then, no customer assets, with the exception of cryptocurrency and pure utility tokens, can be stored on the platform.

Services and functionalities listed and described in this whitepaper will be made available in stages. Upon the launch of the BtcEX platform, only wallet and exchange functionalities will be made available. BtcEX would be authorized to provide relevant services under FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit) licenses and FSA (Financial Supervision Authority). At the early stages, it will only be possible to keep cryptocurrency and utility tokens in wallets and/or on the platform and it would not be possible to keep fiat funds or any other customer assets on the platform.
