What is dock.io

Everyone, who will use the dock.io protocol, will be able to port their data to and from participating applications. dock.io users have automatically updated profile information, employment history data, and any type of platform data in an integrated fashion.

dock.io has multiple scaling roadmaps. dock.io applies ERC201 token standard and easy integration with wallets and exchanges.

dock.io uses the IPLD2 specification developed for IPFS to perform content addressable data exchange.

Dock.io users can opt to publish specific unencrypted data formats to IPFS directly. That way anyone can receive that data, verify its integrity, and verify it is the latest version, without having to make any data requests to the user.

dock.io makes use of the open source standard for anchoring data to blockchains called Chainpoint. Chainpoint was originally developed for the Bitcoin blockchain, and only for anchoring data to a single chain.

DOCK token costs, as well as any exit fees, will be denominated in FIAT.

Dock.io will be launched in 2018.
