Sentinel Protocol is building a crowdsourced threat intelligence database on the blockchain by leveraging its consensus and incentive system. The Sentinels are a group of security experts and organizations including ethical hackers who are rewarded for their security contributions. Sentinel Protocol provides its users with proactive security solutions and a security community that is readily available to investigate each incident. Sentinel Protocol builds alliances with cryptocurrency gateways. The team considers the cost-and-benefit analyses involved with securing crypto assets. Sentinel Protocol is forming a barrier against stolen cryptocurrencies being used or converted to fiat. Sentinel Protocol provides economic incentives for contributions to the platform and the community. This includes financial rewards for collective intelligence contributions from ethical hackers and security vendors. The Sentinel Protocol comprises 3 key elements: • The Sentinel Platform; • S-Wallet powered by machine learning, which provides additional functionality of an antivirus; • The Distributed malware analysis sandbox (D-Sandbox), which is a security mechanism to run untested or unverified programs and code on a separate virtual machine without risking the application or host.
