What is Shield

Shield's web3 security API offers crypto scam detection models to help web3 platforms protect their users from malicious actors and protocols. This is delivered through a single REST API, providing an easy-to-access to data that proactively alerts potential scams.

Shield is built by a team of ex-Facebook, McKinsey, Y Combinator, MIT & Princeton technologists.

An exponential growing number of companies will enable users (and bad actors) to post content on decentralized rails. Soon making a website with a smart contract that allows users upload their own contracts and wallets will be as easy as making a Wordpress site that allows users to post messages.
