What is Yggdrash

YGGDRASH is a trust-based multi-dimensional ecosystem of blockchains (branches), where each branch is governed by reputation. 

The main purpose of YGGDRASH is to create a blockchain ecosystem that would connect all blockchains employing a trust-based multi-dimensional blockchain. YGGDRASH’s ultimate goal is to redesign all services on the internet into a blockchain platform. Following a tree model, YGGDRASH has a Stem Chain and Branch Chains (DApp and an independent blockchain at the same time). 

The Stem Chain provides the blockchain ecosystem, which facilitates interaction and fusion of Branch Chains. The YGGDRASH will have the following Branch Chain types: Immunity Branch Chain, Mutable Branch Chain, Instant Branch Chain, Test/Private Branch Chain.  The team have developed an internal YGGDRASH token (YEED) that will be consumed by various Branch Chains. The YGGDRASH token has been designed to maintain the network and enable transactions. The main network will be also using YEED to register new blockchains to the YGGDRASH Stem Chain. 

As the YGGDRASH developers claim, each Branch will be governed by reputation. Thus, users with high reputation scores will get either free services or a higher share of newly issued YEED.

The YGGDRASH team are planning to release the testnet in Q3 2018.
