What is IP2PGO

One of the main issue in the cryptocurrency markets is still the lack or ease of access for the general public to participate in the markets. Although much progress has been made, cryptocurrency markets are still an unknown to the general public at large.

One of the main problems that we have encountered was investors who wanted to invest in an ICO but did not have the required ETH to subscribe to the ICO. These investors also faced problems to purchase ETH from crypto exchanges because either:

they found the on-boarding process too tedious;

the pricing of ETH offered on those exchanges were too high; or

they couldn’t buy ETH using their fiat currency that they had. Some exchanges only offers ETH pairing in major currency like USD or EUR, and many exchanges do not have crypto/fiat pairings.

Taking into consideration these issues, we started work to develop a P2P cryptocurrency marketplace for individuals to transact cryptos directly with other individuals using fiat currencies. This platform was developed by us, expanding from the Blockchain developed on the financing flow and the Escrow Smart Contracts that were developed on our previous iP2PGlobal financing platform.

We completed and launched our iP2PGO app in October 2018 in Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. As of the date of this Whitepaper we have also launched our localised app in Botswana, China, Ghana, Nigeria, Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania & Vietnam. with more countries to follow. An OTC Swap Markets app was also launched to cater for users not in the above mentioned countries. There are now 13 tokens (including ETH) listed on iP2PGO, in addition to our Android app version, we have also launched a web version for easier access for people using the iPhones, laptops and computers.
