Blockchain real estate companies have already started to spark interest and raise significant capital. These early successes show that there is significant pent up demand for a fractional-ownership real estate market. However, in order for this new market to fully develop, a scalable system is needed on which real estate assets can be traded.
Tokenization of real estate assets does not impact market liquidity per se. If a token is not as easy to trade or exchange as a bluechip stock would be in a traditional stock market, it would still by definition be relatively illiquid.
This only changes as the number of market participants, trading volume and frequency all increase.

Brickchain’s objective is to trade only a certain type of assets, high value unique real estate such as historical landmarks, unique architectural sites, modern office buildings, historical properties located in the CBD, high street retail, shopping centres, serviced apartments, etc. In addition, these assets generate revenues for token holders through commercial activities they are engaged in (e.g. ticket sales in the case of museums).
