What is Hydro Protocol

Hydro Protocol decentralized exchanges offer trustless non-custodial trading, improved transparency, and interpretable liquidity, but decentralized exchanges are hard to build. Hydro significantly alleviates the issue by providing a network transport protocol with open source middleware components that facilitate the creation of high-performance hybrid DEX.

Hydro utilizes “Federated Liquidity Pools” (FLP) to address the issue of liquidity sharing among various decentralized exchanges.

Hydro is designed with the assumption of a canonical order schema. The main advantage of this system is that orders can match against each other, leading to cross-exchange liquidity sharing.
