What is Quoinblock

Quoinblock is a quantum-resistant and green blockchain platform. To ensure that the ecosystem is quantum-safe, Quoinblock employs a scheme based upon temporal signatures that are built using cryptographic hash functions. Other models are also supported. The Quoinblock also proposes a new mining model called “Work-your-Stake”. It is similar to Proof-of-work but the number of entries an agent has is limited by the number of mining tokens it has allocated. The team suggests that the mining fees could be transferred for some good cause, e.g. carbon offset.
