Nexus airdrop (retrodrop): guideline activities

Nexus is a zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM) designed for scalable verifiable computations.

We’ve already participated in Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the testnet.

Now, Nexus is running a Devnet, and the project’s CEO has announced a new activity where we can deploy our own NFT on the Nexus network, helping to warm up our wallet.

✅What we do:

1. Connect to Nexus Network:

• Go to Nexus Explorer, connect your wallet, and add the Nexus network.

2. Send Devnet points to your wallet:

• Visit Nexus and click "One-click connect."
• Click "Sign up" and connect your Google account [If you participated in Phase 2 of the testnet, use the same email and confirm it]
• Toggle the switch to "ON" (screenshot).
• Wait until you accumulate at least 0.005 Devnet points (screenshot).
• Go to your profile, click "Send," and transfer at least 0.005 NEX to your wallet (screenshot).

3. Deploy an NFT on Nexus:

• Go to the NFT deployment site and connect your wallet (the one linked to Nexus).
• Enter a name, upload an image, and click "Deploy Collection."
• Click "Mint New NFT," sign the transaction, and mint your NFT.
• Click "Transfer NFT" and send the NFT to yourself or a friend.

The project has launched Phase 2 of a four-day incentivized testnet, where participants need to set up a browser node and farm points, which will later be rewarded with an airdrop.

✅What to do:

1. Go to the website and click "One-click connect".
2. Click "Sign up" and connect your Google account.
3. Toggle the switch to the "ON" position.
4. The longer you keep the browser running, the more points you will farm.
5. Go to your Profile > Settings and save your seed phrase.

You can also set up a dedicated node that runs continuously without relying on browser activity. Follow the official guide for installation.

The main goal of this activity is to provide computing power for a limited period.

The project has raised $25 million from Pantera Capital, Dragonfly Capital, Lightspeed, and others.

They are currently in Beta Testnet, where we can already farm Cycles points, for which there will be Airdrop.

Cycles points will be awarded for using your network connection traffic.

✅ What we do:

3. Farm Cycles points

The points are assigned to you using your Prover ID, so you are not allowed to delete cookies or change your browser.

In the future, wallet connect will be integrated and a full-fledged reward campaign will be launched. Either way, the activity is completely free and takes no time at all.
