What is ATLAS

The Atlas platform includes its own cryptographic token, $ATPL, which is used to handle transactions that take place on the ATLAS blockchain. The Atlas chain is based on bitcoin, with some modifications and additions such as implementing a Proof-of-Stake consensus model rather than the Proof-of-Work model used by bitcoin.

ATLAS is powered by the C# language and also utilizes the Microsoft .NET framework.

$ATPL tokens are transferable between users and platforms using ERC20-compatible wallets and can be integrated into exchanges.

Atlas’s private chains offer several significant advantages over the creation of a new chain from scratch, and for most organizations will provide all the required benefits without either being unnecessarily restrictive or entailing the significant overheads involved in creating and maintaining a cryptocurrency network.
