BitSong is a decentralized music streaming platform on the base of the Ethereum blockchain. By using BitSong platform everyone will be able to create their own music and share it with all users, who will be able to access the content from any devices they own. BitSong platform will generate profit for the artist and the listeners while creating a money saving opportunity for advertisers. Musicians may receive donations from their fans that could be used for their next album. Advertisers will upload advertisements and each time an advertisement is listened to, the musician and the listener will receive 90% of the profit gained by advertiser. The project is aimed at overcoming the bureaucratic and economic obstacles within the industry and reward artists and users for simply using the platform. Unlike other competing from other music streaming platforms, BitSong assists financing music and video artists and gifting tokens to the users, from enthusiast level artists to those focused on commercial activities.
