What is Hanging Trails

Vision: To create a network of environmentally conscious trails to connect people with nature, foster conservation values, and contribute to the well-being of both communities and ecosystems.

Goal: To construct the 1100 meters of the confluence of Blended Foot Trails in the Mountains of Nepal for the comfort of the community and the tourists visiting the hills. To bring a sense of closeness between human and nature by making it more accessible to humanity to live in greenery and in harmony with its surroundings.

By nurturing a culture of public ownership and shared responsibility, the Hanging Trail Project envisions a rural community that thrives economically, socially, and spiritually and lives in harmony with its surroundings. It celebrates local culture, preserves the environment, and creates a sense of pride and belongingness among community members. The project serves as a catalyst for positive change, inspiring other communities to embrace similar initiatives and fostering sustainable development goals in rural areas.
