Technical details
Waves was selected as an infrastructure partner. Incent operates on a PoS model with circulation driven by merchant transaction volume. In the application layer, BitScan is developing 3 technical components: a merchant facing webapplication built on Google’s Firebase, incorporating an operating dashboard, full analytics, ecommerce and CRM packages; a fully functioned consumer wallet application also built on Firebase, with integrated ecommerce and instant search. There is also a suite of webhook plugins to allow integration into participants’ existing merchant/ecommerce and PoS infrastructure.
What is Incent
- Incent will operate on the Waves platform - Customers will interact with tokens via Incent's special wallet - Merchants issue Incent tokens seamlessly to customers at the point of transaction without needing to hold or account for it themselves - Users don't need to know anything about bitcoin or blockchain as this all happens under the hood - Customers can also trade their Incent tokens on exchanges or directly on the Waves platform

BitScan will hold a reserve of additonal Incent tokens in escrow, equal to half the amount sold at ICO, together with a proportion of bitcoins raised at ICO. The ICO circulation cap will not be lifted until the loyalty product goes live with merchant clients. Thereafter, new tokens will only be mined into the market to ensure commercial liquidity, and bought back as soon as practicable to maintain the circulation cap. |
