What is Iryo Network

Iryo Network is a zero-knowledge health record storage platform, with an anonymous query interface. It employs blockchain permission controls to access patient records and tokens to incentivize end users consent facilitating AI-research.  

Iryo is a participatory, blockchain-based healthcare network that decentralizes access to medical data. The network is designed to store open EHR data. The Iryo solution includes open access to the platform (API) and open-source client code. The Iryo network resolves the obvious privacy issue by granting the users the opportunity to encrypt the data on their phones with a public key. 

The data are stored on Iryo cloud, in the clinic storage and on the users’ devices, which ensures decentralization. The network employs blockchain so that the end-users could issue signed permission without having to verify their identity

Iryo team are planning to supply 300,000,000 ERC-20 tokens (accepted currencies are ETH and EOS). They can be used by patients, research institutions and hospitals, participating in the Iryo network. Patients can use Iryo tokens to have their medical histories analyzed unanimously or pay for medical services. The institutions and clinics will get access to vast amount of medical data, which is supposed to facilitate research and improve treatment.
