What is NNS

NNS is the service domain name Neo's Damion Name Service, which is a distributed, open and extensible domain name system based on NEO Blockchain. Its main goal is to replace wordless phrases, such as purse addresses, which are difficult for users to remember.

The addresses will be replaced by a word or phrase, and NNS will allow you to access the wallet or smart contract in the future.

NNC is an equity proof token introduced into the NNS system. In order to sustain the system, NNS has introduced a fee redistribution system. The fees charged for all domain name auctions will be completely redistributed to NNCs holders.

The initial issuance of the NNC is in the form of airdrop(s). NNC will be only airdropped to NEO holders. Specific airdrop rules will be announced in the future.

Finished the technical principle test and verification

Issue NNC on testnet.
Release NNS Stage 2 testing service including bidding service on testnet, when anyone can apply to NEL for NNC to test bidding domain names.
Launch testnet-based domain name browser V2.

Issue NNC on mainnet.
Deploy NNS contracts on mainnet. Open up ending in .neo domain name with more than 5 characters. Here comes Neo domain name era.
Release mainnet-based domain name browser.
