What is Halfwish

Halfwish is a PVP Roguelite with a focus on strategy, risk mitigation and bluffing. Experience a brand new genre of card game that combines elements of Poker, Yugioh and Streetfighter.

You will not need to collect cards, build decks or buy anything to start playing. During your game time, you can collect your own roster of heroes, find unique equipment and unearth powerful relics to show off in your personal realm. All these items can be traded on our web 3 marketplace—with our singular on-chain token — HWAT. Our goal is to build on a model that works: the gem system in many web 2 mobile games. HWAT serves as our version of ‘gems’.

In Halfwish, we aim to tackle the issue of P2W and P2E by introducing two separate rulesets, balanced and scaling. For balanced rule sets, which includes the ranked and competitive modes, player items and hero stats will not affect the gameplay in any way. On the other hand, scaling modes like Skirmishes and Faction Wars, are affected by these items and hero progressions.
