The peer to peer verification protocol used in bitcoinClean is called proof-of-greenness and allows for a maximum of confidence in a scenario that is not controlled by central third parties. It aims to ensure that a maximum of miners use renewable or green energy, like water, wind, solar or biogas, geothermal and tidal energy.
