What is Centrifuge

Centrifuge implements a hybrid on-chain/offchain private by design protocol, with a focus on moving the financial supply chain towards a trustless and cryptographically secured protocol. We enable nodes to exchange documents privately in a p2p network and support on-chain tokenization and verification of documents.

Centrifuge has entered a new category of Total Value Locked (TVL) growth: real-world asset (RWA) TVL. Once tokenized, real-world assets, such as invoices, real estate, royalties, and other assets, have the potential to bring trillions in new assets to DeFi. Centrifuge tokenizes real-world assets by converting them into NFTs on the Centrifuge Chain. RWA TVL measures the active real world asset value being used for financing on Centrifuge. Breaking Ground in Polkadot
