OpenWhat is Xai
Xai was developed to enable real economies and open trade in the next generation of video games. With Xai, potentially billions of traditional gamers can own and trade valuable in-game items in their favorite games for the first time, without the need to use crypto-wallets. Anyone can support the Xai network by operating a node which allows them to receive network rewards and participate in governance. Xai is developed by Offchain Labs leveraging Arbitrum technology.
Xai aims to onboard hundreds of millions of traditional gamers to blockchain gaming for the first time by abstracting away wallets and providing a fast, low-friction gaming experience, all while delivering the benefits of blockchain technology, including open trade, interoperability, composability, and item ownership.
The previous generation of blockchain gaming ecosystems demonstrated that blockchain gaming has a place in the larger gaming ecosystem. However, blockchain gaming still requires more scale. Xai's core value is to make it easier than ever for traditional gamers to experience the benefits of blockchain gaming by prioritizing a delightful, low-friction user experience as the most important tenet of the project.

Xai Roadmap
Odyssey Event - August
The Xai Testnet's Odyssey campaign will commence in August. Community members participating in the campaign and aiding in the testing of the new Xai L3 will receive special recognition and rewards.
Sentry Node Launch - December
Sentry Node Keys will be available for purchase, allowing anyone to run a Sentry node and contribute to the network's security. Initially operating on the testnet, Sentry nodes will accrue esXAI. Upon the mainnet launch, nodes will seamlessly transition, and all esXAI will be fully compatible.
Mainnet Launch - January
Following the TGE, the mainnet will launch, setting the stage for XAI Redemptions, esXAI staking, and the debut of the network's first game, Final Form.
XAI Redemptions - January
After the TGE, esXAI will be redeemable for fully transferable XAI, enabling holders to redeem their assets.
Staking - January
Post-TGE, staking for esXAI will become available, allowing holders to stake their tokens for various benefits.

One of the industry's largest DEX projects will deploy to Xai, providing network participants with a fertile environment for liquidity growth.
