Hong Kong Digital Asset Summit: Tokenized Finance From Pilot To Production | Nov 5-6

Opened by Under Secretary Joseph HL Chan, JP, from the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, with the Securities and Futures Commission, the BIS Innovation Hub, BlackRock, Ant International, HSBC and Swift on stage.

HONG KONG, October 2026. Cosmoverse will host the Hong Kong Digital Asset Summit on 5 and 6 November 2026 at the Grand Hyatt, bringing together more than 50 speakers from the banks, asset managers, market infrastructures and regulators that are moving tokenized finance from pilot to production. The institutions on stage represent more than USD 22 trillion in assets under management.

Hong Kong has spent the past two years building the rails: a licensing regime for stablecoin issuers, an interbank tokenization pilot, tokenized fund share classes, digital bond issuances and the region’s first spot digital asset ETFs. The Summit is built around a single question: now that the infrastructure is live, how do institutions use it? The two-day program follows that question end to end, from what gets tokenized, to how it settles, to how capital gets access.

Mr Joseph HL Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, opens the Summit on 5 November. Elizabeth Wong, Director and Head of the Fintech Unit, Intermediaries, at the Securities and Futures Commission, and King Leung, Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, take the stage on the licensing framework for real-world asset tokenization and the institutional market it is building. Joshua Chu, Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Web3 Association, moderates the discussion. Bénédicte Nolens and Italo Borssatto of the BIS Innovation Hub deliver a joint keynote on the learnings from the Hub’s tokenization portfolio.

The main stage opens with BlackRock and Kelvin Li, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Platform Tech Business Unit at Ant International, on EnsembleTX, the interbank tokenization pilot. Fidelity International, Franklin Templeton, the Tokenization Foundation and Injective follow on tokenized funds, now that tokenized share classes are live. HSBC covers the digital bond issuances to date, and HSBC and Standard Chartered’s venture arm close the block on which asset classes come next.

Tokenized assets need tokenized money. Swift and the Solana Foundation discuss how licensed stablecoins connect to existing payment rails. Circle and SC Ventures by Standard Chartered cover treasury, collateral and settlement under the new licensing regime. Google Cloud takes stablecoin payments from on-ramps to AI agents.

On access, Invesco and Mirae Asset discuss who has been buying the spot digital asset ETFs since launch. China Asset Management and CSOP cover listed and structured products; Fireblocks, AMINA and CAT Investigators the custody, trading and staking behind an allocation. Ava Labs, co-host of the Business Day, holds a fireside, and Jae Kwon, co-founder of Cosmos and founder of Gno.land, joins the main stage.

Three sessions cover the corridors into Hong Kong. The Brazil to Hong Kong Executive Delegation, seven Brazilian digital asset and fintech companies on an official FinTech Week delegation, takes the main stage on 5 November after meetings hosted by InvestHK and Cyberport earlier in the week. The other two cover the Gulf and the Greater Bay Area, where Plowman Chambers is the Summit’s legal partner.

The format is simple: two days, one main stage, 30-minute panels, firesides and keynotes, so delegates follow the whole program without choosing between rooms. The Summit is preceded on 4 November by the invitation-only Business Day, held under the Chatham House Rule, and the VIP Dinner. Injective hosts the Investor Soirée at the Champagne Bar on the evening of 5 November.

Sessions are recorded and distributed after the Summit. The Information Services Department of the HKSAR Government brings its delegation of international journalists on 5 November and runs the on-site media room, where speakers are available for interviews in English and Mandarin.

Michael Cito, Founder and CEO of Cosmoverse: “The infrastructure is live. The decisions that matter now are institutional: which funds to tokenize, how to settle, where to custody, which stablecoins to accept and under which license. We built this room for the people making those decisions.”
