MEDIA Protocol is designed to facilitate direct exchange of content, data and incentives, including financial ones, among publishers, creators and consumers. Publishers will be able to incentivize consumer engagement and consumption with ERC20 MEDIA Protocol tokens. A specific piece of content will be represented by a Smart URL that will be able to distribute MEDIA Protocol tokens. Consumers will get token rewards for content viewing, sharing, commenting, etc.
