Its layer one blockchain, Side Hub, is created using the Cosmos SDK and is the flagship implementation of the self-innovated bridgeless inter-chain swap modules upon IBC Protocol, which makes cross-chain swap process more seamless and intuitive by allowing users trade cross-chain assets without bridging from one chain to another.
Side Hub is the premier blockchain platform designed specifically for inter-chain finance, providing a robust and secure ledger infrastructure. Built with the latest Cosmos technologies, Side Hub enables developers and contributors to build a wide range of innovative decentralized applications. Some examples of applications that can be developed on Side Hub include CLOB-based DEX, cross-chain atomic swaps, on-chain OTC platforms, on-chain shield transactions, single-sided stable swaps, cross-chain lending protocols, prediction markets, and more. With Side Hub, the possibilities are endless, making it a versatile platform for developers to explore and build upon.
Side Hub is a sovereign chain built using Cosmos SDK v0.47 and the Tendermint Core, the Byzantine-Fault-Tolerant (BFT) Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus framework.
The Side Hub launch sequence will come in three phases:
- Alpha: A closed testnet for early community members and trusted partners
- Beta: A public testnet available for all
- Mainnet: The full launch of the Side Hub mainnet
