What is Yiedl

The traditional model of financial investments is plagued with some points of failure. Investors are forced to trust intermediaries such as asset managers, brokers, and financial institutions, hoping they will act in the interests of their clients, rather than those of the intermediary itself. This problem is well known as the “principal-agent problem”, where there’s a conflict in priorities between a person or group (principal-investor) and the representative authorized to act on their behalf (agent-asset manager). The agreement may cause a huge cost for the principal, thereby leading to the issues of moral hazard and conflict of interest.
