Tempo airdrop (retrodrop): guideline activities

Previously, I made a post where I explained in maximum detail all the main activities in the Tempo testnet.

Now the project has announced a migration to the new Moderato test network. Therefore, we need to add it to our wallet and repeat all the actions we performed in the previous network.

Reasons for migrating to the new network:

• Faster feature implementation – updates will be released more frequently and quickly.
• Closer to the mainnet – Moderato almost fully replicates the future main network.
• More stable operation – the new infrastructure is less prone to failures.

The migration might cause minor inconveniences now, but in the future, it will reduce the number of issues and make the testnet more reliable and predictable.

✅What we need to do:

1. Go to the website and add the Moderato test network to your wallet
2. Go to the website and request test tokens
3. Re-perform all the steps from this post in the updated network
4. Complete the tasks from this post again
5. Mint an NFT from Mintaura here

Recently, I published a post detailing all the main activities in the Tempo Testnet.

Now, I’ve gathered new tasks for you. These will help us further boost our wallets in the Tempo Testnet and increase our chances for future rewards.

✅What we do:

1. Mint a domain on Infinityname:

• Go to the website and connect your EVM wallet.
• In the top right corner, switch the network to Tempo Testnet.
• Enter your desired name (use only lowercase letters) and click “Search”.
• Choose a “.tempo” domain from the suggested options and click “Approve USD”.
• Click “Register”, sign the transaction, and mint your domain.

2. Interact with Surflayer:

• Go to the website and connect your EVM wallet.
• In the top right corner, switch the network to Tempo Testnet.
• Set the filter for testnets and click “GM on Tempo Testnet”.
• Go to the “Deploy” tab and deploy a contract in the Tempo Testnet.

The team has recently launched activities on the testnet, which are already available for testing.

There is also an option to run a node, though it is currently unofficial.

✅What to do:

1. Get Test Tokens:

• Go to the link and add the test network.
• On the same page, switch to the "Get Faucet Funds" tab and request test tokens by clicking "Add funds" (Add all these tokens to your wallet).
• Set your fee token for EVM transactions. Choose a token and click "Set fee token."
• At the bottom, request test tokens from the faucet.
