SGPay is an e-wallet that allows users to purchase and sell cryptocurrencies using e-payment apps. The platform is designed for Singapore and Asian market.
SGPay teams main objective is to promote cryptocurrencies in Singapore and adjacent territories. SGPay aims to familiarize traditional industries (insurance, retail, transport, etc.) with their platform to get more support and potential revenues.
SGPay solution will be accessible form mobile devices (Android and iOS). It supports cryptocurrency transactions (SGPay Network Token, Bitcoin, Ether and locally developed cryptocurrencies), as well as depositing/withdrawal of Singapore Dollar funds. The SGPay platform will also have a built-in monetized incentive system.
The SGPay (SGP) token is an ERC20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain. It will be utilized in the SGPay platform and associated business and partner platforms. The token holders will be offered lower transaction fees and other incentives.
According to the roadmap, the SGPays MVP will be completed in June 2018. The SGPay platform with e-payments functionality will be available in November 2018.
