What is Ravencoin

Ravencoin is a platform coin built on the UTXO model of Bitcoin.

Ravencoin will be adding assets, rewards,  assets, messaging, and voting.

Ravencoin will create an exact number of VOTE tokens and distribute them 1:1 to the token holders. These votes can be sent via the protocol to addresses that tally the votes.

Ravencoin  issuer of a token burns RVN and must provide a unique token name. Ravencoin issuer determines the quantity issued, the number of decimal places, and whether they will be allowed to issue more of the same token in the future.

Ravencoin is free and open source. All Ravencoin (RVN) are fairly issued and mined publicly and transparently using Proof of Work (POW) using the x16r algorithm which was created for Ravencoin.
