What is Uomi

  • Autonomous Economic Agents:
UOMI enables the creation of AI-powered agents that can operate autonomously and manage their own economic activities. These agents are represented as NFTs and can transact digital assets and cover their computational expenses.
  • Optimistic Proof of Computation (OPoC):
UOMI uses OPoC, a novel consensus algorithm designed to facilitate secure and efficient AI computations on-chain. This ensures that smart contracts can trust AI computations, enabling reliable autonomous economic agents.
  • Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS):
TSS ensures secure ownership and transaction capabilities for AI agents. It allows AI agents to own and transact blockchain digital assets securely without any single party knowing the entire private key, enhancing privacy and security.
  • Decentralized and Secure Architecture:
The network is built on a layer-one blockchain architecture that combines Proof of Stake (PoS) and OPoC to provide robust security and economic incentives, minimizing trust assumptions and computational overhead.

Uomi Roadmap

1
Q3 - 2024 | Babbage

Decentralized parallel inference

The Babbage Testnet is the testing ground for deterministic parallel inference with large-scale AI models. It constitutes the foundation of the OPoC consensus algorithm. It will support inferences with LLAMA 3.1 70B (8 Bit Quantized) and Flux.1. The model's list will be expanded in the subsequent testnets. The Babbage Testnet features a multi-VM framework, supporting both WASM and EVM. It features the deployment of Solidity-compiled smart contracts.

2
Q4 - 2024 | Finney

OPoC consensus

The Finney Testnet implements the OPoC consensus algorithm for secure and efficient AI computation. Third-party node operators will be able to join the network. Slashing and inactivity leak will be implemented but not applied to nodes. It will be possible to publish WASM-defined custom AI Agents. The testnet includes IPFS support to store custom AI Agents configuration and memory.

3
Q1 - 2025 | Turing

Agents ability to control crypto assets

The Turing Testnet adds Treshold Signature Scheme (TSS) distributed key generation and signing. This feature enables nodes to sign transactions on behalf of the AI Agents on ANY Blockchain. A TSS-enabled bridge will be deployed to allow for trustless bridging of blockchain assets between UOMI Network and Ethereum. Slashing and inactivity leak will be activated with testnet tokens.

4
Q2 - 2025 | Mainnet

Decentralized Governance and Bridges

After thorough testing with the Turing Testnet, the OPoC algorithm will be implemented on the mainnet, enabling AI Agents to securely control valuable digital assets. The mainnet launch includes the creation of the UOMI DAO and a decentralized bridge between Ethereum and UOMI to enable staking with the pre-minted supply for nodes operators, indirect stakers, and VeUOMI holders.
