What is Freename

Freename allows its users to create their own top level domains (TLDs) and second level domains (SLDs) on multiple blockchains. These web3 domains represent a digital identity and can be used for various functions such as sending and receiving crypto payments, sending web2 and web3 emails, browsing traditional websites and building decentralized websites. Last but not least, with Freename each TLD owner becomes a real registrar: by purchasing his own .something he can generate a revenue stream whenever new users register domains on his TLD.

Among the products developed by Freename there is the Web3 WHOIS, a groundbreaking domain explorer which queries wallets, domains and TLDs from Freename, Unstoppable Domains and the ENS registry.
