Market.space is a marketplace that will function as a host aggregator, which will allow professional hosting providers and data centers to lease storage capacities. The Market.space solution will also facilitate authentic content distribution eliminating additional intermediary payments.
As the team state, the Market.space service has been designed for professionals. Corporate clients prefer to work with market professionals when it comes to data storage because they can ensure reliability and encryption.
The Market.space customers (senders) will be able to upload data to the Market.space system and pay for the host services with internal cryptocurrency (MASPC). The receivers (who can also be senders) will then download the data from the Market.space system using an encryption key. All Market.space transactions will be verified by miners.
The Market.space system will employ two smart contracts, one on the Ethereum blockchain and another on the Market.space blockchain. MASP tokens will be built on the Ethereum blockchain whereas the internal cryptocurrency (MASPC) will be based on the Market.space blockchain. The two contracts will run together and perform different functions.
The Market.space test launch is scheduled for Q1 2019.
