What is WAODAO

WAODAO is a daily Human + AI ArtChain and on-chain culture ecosystem built around #WEAREONE. Since February 14, 2023, it has created more than 1,300 daily artworks combining world news, digital trends, human input and AI. WAO is the ecosystem's publicly traded liquidity token, with Friendly Pools across Ethereum and Solana. Eligible primary NFT purchases include WAO tokens of equal market value calculated at the current DEX price; this does not apply to secondary resales.

February 14, 2023

WAODAO launch. The project started minting the vibe of each day into one daily AI-generated NFT and metaphorical text.

Q1 2023

Early DAO mechanics and community coordination experiments were introduced after the first successful NFT auctions.

Q1 2023

Crew3 community competition.

Q1 2023

Scan page release. WAODAO introduced a public way to explore daily NFTs and ArtChain data.

Q4 2023

Treasury metrics became publicly visible for NFT holders.

2024: Continuity and model experimentation

2024: The daily ArtChain continued. WAODAO kept minting one NFT per day, preserving the rhythm of the project and expanding the long-form archive of Human + AI culture.
Throughout the year, different AI models, prompt structures and generation workflows were tested. This helped WAODAO improve the visual process, compare model behavior over time and keep the ArtChain adaptable as AI image generation tools evolved.
2024 was mainly a continuity and experimentation year: the archive kept growing day by day, while the project observed how AI models changed and prepared for the next phase of WAO liquidity and cross-chain expansion.

2025

Solana expansion. WAO was deployed on Solana through Wormhole bridge infrastructure, extending WAO beyond Ethereum.
Friendly Pools became a core direction of the ecosystem. WAO liquidity expanded across Ethereum and Solana.

2025-2026

WAODAO moved away from the original closed treasury-fund model toward a more open liquidity model based on WAO markets, NFT proceeds, Friendly Pools, grants and transparent on-chain routes.

February 14, 2026

WAODAO turned 3 years on-chain. The project marked this milestone with Proof-of-Songs, expanding the ArtChain from image and text into sound, music and crypto-cultural storytelling.

February 20, 2026

WAOSHI received a personal treasury identity under the ENS name waoshi.eth.

May 2026

New WAODAO website release. The updated site presents the current project model: daily ArtChain, NFT-to-WAO mechanics, Friendly Pools, grants, investor paths, AI-agent readability and cross-chain liquidity.

2026

WAODAO became more machine-readable through structured data, public scan pages, llms.txt, OpenAPI, sitemap, robots.txt and Agent API endpoints. This makes the ArtChain easier to read not only for people, but also for AI agents and automated systems.

Long-term direction

WAODAO is evolving into an open, cross-chain cultural and liquidity ecosystem.
The long-term direction includes:

expanding Friendly Pools across relevant ecosystems;
supporting aligned projects through grants and liquidity partnerships;
improving public access to ArtChain data;
making NFT, token and liquidity routes easier to verify;
developing WAOSHI as a recognizable AI-agent identity;
exploring ways to preserve more stages of Human + AI co-creation on-chain or through durable public data layers.

The goal is to make WAODAO a living archive of Human + AI creativity, readable by collectors, communities, builders and future AI agents.

2028 and beyond

Protocol maturity review. Instead of fund closure, WAODAO will review how the ecosystem should continue developing: Friendly Pools, grants, WAOSHI, HACM, agent-readable infrastructure, treasury coordination and possible future governance models.
