What is Numbers Protocol

We're building a decentralised photo network for Web 3.0. Images and videos are traceable, trustworthy and one-of-a-kind in Numbers network.

Numbers Protocol is a decentralized photo network for Web3.0 (internet’s next frontier) that aims to address the 4 pillars of the digital asset dilemma: ownership, provenance, ecosystem and most importantly copyright. Digital assets created in the Numbers Protocol network can be traced, verified and most importantly have copyright claimed.

With Capture, birth information of the media content is recorded at the point of creation. At the moment a piece of media is created, contextual information such as creator, time, location and signature is collected, recorded and cryptographically signed. This is important in capturing uniqueness as no two pieces of digital content can replicate the exact circumstances of their creation.

With Seal, the records are made immutable and traceable by creating an integrity record on the blockchain. It is important that these records are made immutable by the blockchain to ensure that no tampering and manipulation can happen with the digital asset. It ensures the security and authenticity of the media.

With Trace, the media assets themselves are made into traceable multilayered information containers by embedding the contextual information. The identifying quality of these assets is that they can speak for themselves because the information sticks even in the event of sharing on the web. Additionally, a certificate of authenticity (Chronicle Record) is generated and can be made public for verification purposes.
