What is Mage Labs

Mage Labs is in the process of developing "Versus", a Web3 gaming experience that blends the best of Animal Crossing, Pokémon, and Tekken.

This title is poised to be a premier free-to-play, massively multiplayer online game that caters to both casual and competitive players. In Versus, participants will have the opportunity to explore, collect, construct, and engage in battles within a captivating 3D environment that evolves in real-time by leveraging open source Large Language Models (LLMs), such as Llama-2 (by Meta). AI Non Player Characters (AI-NPCs) craft tailor made quests and dialogue shaped by each player's inputs and actions.

We have created a custom proprietary system that blends the social interaction found in multiplayer online games with the adaptive responses provided by an LLM context local to the player's session. In addition, with the use of account abstraction to keep blockchain only as a benefit rather than any source of a barrier, Versus is set to redefine the paradigm for future gaming, offering a unique and immersive experience for the next generation of gamers.
