What is Relai
The start-up was founded by Julian Liniger and Adem Bilican when they were looking for a hassle-free way to safely buy bitcoin. They created the platform to allow retail investors buy and sell bitcoin without the additional constraints of registration, verification, or deposits – it also gives investors full control of their funds via a non-custodial bitcoin wallet.
Driven by the belief that Bitcoin is the best way to save money, Relai is raising a new generation of long-term investors by giving them simple, user-friendly, and secure access to Bitcoin.
Relai Roadmap
- Julian joins forces with Adem. The young team starts working on an idea of a hassle-free Bitcoin app at the F10 hackathon in Zürich.
- After months of sweat, blood, and tears, the Relai app hits the app stores. We finish the year with a total trading volume of CHF 2 million.
- We raised CHF 2.5 Million in Series A. The capital is used for building a Bitcoin broker and becoming a regulated virtual asset service provider
- Relai 2.0 launches. Along with lower fees, more features, the new app comes with entirely new branding and an even simpler user experience.
